About This Coffee :

Selected and Curated by Berg Wu. 2016 Champion, World Barista and owner of Simple Kaffa.

This coffee is part of his Maker Series, a collective of exceptional coffee curated by Berg Wu himself. There are two types, the first being the Washed Lot and the other is the NanaMooz lot, an experimental where the cherry is fermented/inoculated with Banana. We thought its a little bit extreme and we decided to go with the washed ones.

This offering is a Yigacheffe Washed process which has been chosen by Berg Wu. The farm selected is sits at 2300 masl situated in Yigarcheffe and Graded as Wuri lot for it being grown at a very high altitude

The dry aroma is tangy peach, lychee, bergamot and orange blossom. You can feel the notes as soon as you sip it. The coffee is creamy, similar to a bright lemon custard, followed by notes of lychee, peach and elegant orange blossom aroma.The coffee is rich, delicate and charming.

Wu Zelin (Berg Wu): Won the WBC (World Barista Competition) World Championship in 2016
Berg Wu successively won the 2013-2015 Coffee Masters Taiwan Championship, and he also won
the 7th place in the Italian Coffee Masters World Championship in 2014.
