Esmeralda Special Geisha is a selected selection of high-altitude Geisha (1600-1800 masl) with a cup score of over 90 points.
The Peterson family coffee farm in Panama (Hacienda La Esmeralda) has been the gold standard for growing the Gesha (sometimes spelled Geisha) coffee variety around the world.
The coffee comes mainly from the farms Jaramillo and Cañas Verde and is of the highest quality produced at Hacienda la Esmeralda. Although the elevation offers challenges for cultivation and harvesting, it is up in the mountains of Boquete that the unique floral and citrus aromas of this geisha coffee are developed.
Over here at JWC, we would rate this coffee as an exotic spectrum of flavours, best brew and enjoy during special moments or occasions!
